APS Civil is a growing civil construction business delivering high-quality outcomes across a range of commercial and infrastructure projects.
We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to support project planning, coordination and delivery while developing the skills required to progress into a Project Manager role.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in project management within the civil construction industry.
Working closely with the Project Manager and Operations Manager, you will gain exposure to all stages of project delivery, including planning, procurement, scheduling, compliance and client coordination.
The role will suit a motivated and organised individual who enjoys problem-solving, working with people and learning the operational side of civil construction projects.
You will receive mentoring and hands-on experience while progressively taking on greater responsibility as your skills develop.
Responsibilities
Assist with project planning, scheduling and coordination activities
Prepare pre-start documentation, permits and project administration requirements
Source supplier and subcontractor quotes and assist with procurement activities
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and project resources
Support project delivery through scheduling, site coordination and quality compliance activities
Assist with purchase orders, project records and cost tracking within SIMPRO




Support compliance activities, document control and safety management system
Monitor project progress and assist with client and stakeholder communication
About You
You will be a highly organised and proactive individual who is eager to learn and develop within the civil construction industry.
You will bring:
Previous experience in a construction, project coordination, contract administration or similar role
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
Positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced industry professionals
Experience with SIMPRO or similar project management software will be highly regarded
Qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related field will be highly regarded
