We are seeking an experiencedService Designerto support a major Federal Government client with offices inSydney, Canberra and Adelaide.
Apply yourService Design, UX and Human-Centred Design (HCD)expertise to create accessible, effective end-to-end digital services across complex operational environments.
What you'll do
Conduct user research, facilitate workshops and lead usability testing to understand user needs.
Develop personas, journey maps and service blueprints to inform service design.
Translate research insights into actionable requirements and user stories.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects and delivery teams to shape solutions.




Ensure services meetWCAG 2.1 AA accessibility requirementsand align with digital service standards.
Support Agile delivery throughScrum, SAFe or Lean UXpractices.
What you'll bring
A current NV1, NV2 or TSPV security clearance — mandatory.
A strong background inService Design, UX and HCD, with experience designing end-to-end services.
Proficiency inFigma, Miro, Visio or similar tools.
Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
Knowledge of accessibility requirements and digital service standards.
Strong research, facilitation and collaboration skills, with the ability to turn complex findings into transparent design outcomes.
Experience inlaw enforcement, intelligence, defence or other highly regulated environmentswill be highly regarded.
