We're looking for an experienced Barista to join the opening team at Baptiste, our new French neighbourhood bistro at Wunderlich Lane in Surry Hills.
Baptiste is all about the things we love about French dining.
Good food, great wine, warm hospitality and the kind of place people want to come back to.
Think morning coffees, fresh baguettes, long lunches and evenings that turn into something more.
We're building a team who genuinely enjoy hospitality, take pride in what they do and know that even the smallest interactions can make someone's day.
The role
As our Barista, you'll be part of creating the daily rhythm of Baptiste, welcoming locals, making consistently great coffee and helping us build a neighbourhood favourite.
You'll be responsible for:
Making consistently excellent coffee, even when things get busy
Creating a warm, welcoming experience for every guest
Keeping the coffee station organised, clean and running smoothly
Working closely with our front of house team to deliver great service
Taking pride in the little details, from your first coffee of the morning to your last
Who we're looking for
You'll have solid barista experience,



confidence working with specialty coffee and the ability to keep up with a busy service without compromising quality.
More importantly, you'll be someone who loves people, enjoys being part of a team and understands that great hospitality is about more than what's in the cup.
We're looking for someone who's reliable, brings good energy to work and wants to help build something special from the beginning.
