Wilderness School is seeking expressions of interest for casual
Sports Coaches
to join our incredible Sport & Recreation program.
Co-curricular sport is central to life at Wilderness, supporting our commitment to educating the whole person.
Our program offers diverse competitive and recreational opportunities, fostering skill development, teamwork, resilience and a lifelong appreciation for health and wellbeing within an inclusive and supportive environment.
The Coach plays a vital role in delivering a high-quality sporting experience.
Working closely with the Director of Sport & Recreation and Sport Coordinator, you will coach and develop our girls in a safe, engaging environment while promoting teamwork, discipline and personal growth.
We offer the below sports across Summer and Winter
Water Polo
Touch Football
Basketball
Cricket
Volleyball
Tennis
Rowing
Netball
Football
Soccer
Badminton
Hockey
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver structured training sessions
Develop technical skills and game understanding
Foster a positive, inclusive team culture




Support student wellbeing and safe participation
Maintain equipment and uphold professional standards
About You
Experience coaching school-aged students (preferred)
Strong sport-specific knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, organised and qualified
Current Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)
Relevant coaching accreditation (desirable)
