Gilgandra Shire Council is seeking Labourers to join the Infrastructure team!
Permanent full time - 38 hours per week
Rostered day off every fortnight - an extra 22 days off a year!
Weekly pay cycle
Salary range $******* - $******* per week
ABOUT THE ROLE
To carry out general labouring duties as directed in a safe and efficient manner.
Within that workplace the major challenges for the position of Labourer are to:
To carry out duties in an enthusiastic, energetic manner to the quality and scope indicated by the Team Leader.
Keep accurate timesheets and plant sheets.
Operate and maintain items of plant and equipment when requested.
To carry out duties unsupervised for short periods of time.
Comply with all Work, Health & Safety Policies and procedures implemented by Council.
ABOUT YOU
Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and or qualifications:
Current Driver Licence
Possession of WorkCover WH&S; Construction Induction Training (White Card)
Basic skills operating a wide range of small plant & equipment/hand/tools
Experience in general labouring duties
Knowledge and understanding of WH&S; and ability to wear PPE




Sound literacy and numeracy skills
