We want applicants who...are physically fit, reliable and punctual;are enthusiastic about learning the skills needed to join our vintage multi-cultural team;Cellar experience and an Australian Forklift Licence are an advantage but specific job training will be provided;can work positively within a team workplace;have a sound understanding and commitment to workplace safetyhave Australian citizenship or a valid Australian work permitYou will work with the Winemaking team to complete the required day-to-day winery operations, including:completing all cellar activities in accordance with job sheets within appropriate timeframes;assisting with key cellar and winemaking processes including pressing, fermentation and filtration;assist with maintenance of winery equipment to ensure the efficiency of cellar operations - this includes pumps, presses and plumbing;communicate both maintenance problems and potential solutions to the site Winemaker and or Assistant winemaker Applicants.
