What you can expect in a day in the role:
This is a hands-on role, and you'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing a broad range of electrical systems across hotel, gaming and facilities environments, such as but not limited to:
Maintain and repair different electrical systems
Service and troubleshoot Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs)
Diagnose faults and deliver practical solutions
Complete preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns
Respond to reactive maintenance requests across the property
Ensure all work meets compliance, safety and regulatory standards
Work closely with a multi-skilled team
What you'll bring to the role:
You're a qualified Electrician who brings strong technical capability, reliability, and a proactive approach.
You thrive in a busy environment,
take ownership of your work, and prioritise safety and communication.
To succeed, you'll have:
A Grade Electrical Licence (Tasmania) essential
Current Tasmanian Gaming Technician's Licence or willing to obtain
Current Driver's Licence
Fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Clear communication skills and a team-oriented approach
Experience in a similar maintenance or hospitality environment (advantageous)
