About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-onOvernight Public Area Supervisorto lead our overnight cleaning operations within a premium hotel setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who takes pride in maintaining exceptional presentation standards while supporting and developing a high-performing team.
Working overnight shifts from11:00pm to 7:00am, you'll play a key role in ensuring the hotel's public areas remain clean, safe and welcoming for guests. Shifts are rostered across a7-day operation, which may include weekends and public holidays.
Location: Sydney CBD, NSW

What You'll Be Doing
As theOvernight Public Area Supervisor, you'll lead from the front while ensuring all cleaning operations are completed to the highest standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising the overnight Public Area team, providing direction, support and guidance throughout each shift.
Allocating and monitoring daily tasksto ensure all scheduled duties are completed efficiently and on time.
Conducting quality inspectionsof public areas including lobbies, bathrooms, lifts, corridors and back-of-house areas to ensure hotel standards are consistently met.
Ensuring all overnight cleaning and deep-cleaning activitiesare completed in accordance with the scope of works and site requirements.
Reporting maintenance issues,



hazards and operational concernsto the appropriate stakeholders.
Providing completion reports, photos and shift updatesto management.
Supporting the team with hands-on cleaning duties where required.
Assisting with the training, coaching and development of team members.
Maintaining a strong focus on workplace health and safety, compliance and quality standards.
Building positive working relationships with hotel management and key stakeholders.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
Previoussupervisory, team leader or leading-hand experiencewithin cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality or facilities services.
Experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high presentation standards.
Experience conducting inspections, audits or quality checks.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
The ability to motivate, support and develop team members.
Confidence using mobile devices to complete reports, communicate updates and provide completion photos.
The ability to work independently and make decisions during overnight operations.
Availability to work11:00pm - 7:00amshifts on a roster scheduled across a7-day operation.
