Our Building Services team is continuing to grow inBrisbane, and we are looking for aMechanical Project Engineerto join the team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in expanding our local Building Services capability while being supported by an established national team.
Working across projects in sectors including health, commercial, education, defence, government, and sports and recreation, you will take greater ownership of mechanical services design and project delivery. You will work closely with clients, architects and multidisciplinary design teams to deliver practical, coordinated engineering solutions from concept through to construction.

The Opportunity
Deliver mechanical building services design across small to medium projects and key packages within larger multidisciplinary projects.
Take ownership of project tasks, coordinating technical delivery to meet programme, budget and quality requirements.




Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, specifications and other project documentation.
Work directly with clients, architects, contractors and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate designs and deliver successful project outcomes.
Undertake site inspections, respond to RFIs and technical queries, and provide engineering support throughout design and construction.
Support and mentor junior team members while contributing to the continued growth and capability of our Brisbane Building Services team.
About You
Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering with experience in building services engineering within a consulting environment.
Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of mechanical building services, including HVAC systems.
Sound knowledge of the NCC, relevant Australian Standards and industry design requirements.
Experience working across multidisciplinary building projects and coordinating with other engineering and design disciplines.
Strong communication and client engagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of project delivery.




Working towards or holding relevant professional registration and Chartered status.
