About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Support Officer to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the prospect to transition into a permanent role upon successful completion of the contract.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the effective delivery of core finance operations across the business.
You will assist with transactional processing, reconciliations, and reporting, helping to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuity across finance functions.
Working in a collaborative environment, the Accounts Support Officer also contributes to strong financial controls, timely stakeholder support, and continuous improvement of finance systems and processes.
Duties As the Accounts Support Officer,



you will play a crucial role in our organisation by: Support end-to-end accounts payable processing, including invoice entry, purchase order matching, payment processing, reconciliations, and supplier maintenance.
Assist payroll and accounts receivable functions, providing support during peak periods and staff absences.
Process staff reimbursements, credit notes, and ad-hoc payments in line with internal controls and approval frameworks.
Prepare reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to assist with the month-end close and financial reporting.
Respond to internal and external accounts enquiries and liaise with operational teams, including the Workshop, to resolve billing or payment issues.
Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of finance procedures, controls, systems and processes, while supporting ad-hoc tasks as required.
