About the role We're looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to lead our nursing team in a full-time, senior role.
You'll have real say over how nursing runs at the practice, with management on site and a supportive team around you.
Key responsibilities Lead the treatment room and nursing team, including an Enrolled Nurse and Assistants in Nursing Run chronic disease management, health assessments and care plans Immunisations, cold chain, wound care, cervical screening and general procedures Recalls and follow-up, and support for our doctors and registrars Help set and improve nursing processes and keep us accreditation-ready (RACGP 6th edition) About you Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse At least 3 years in general practice,



with leadership or mentoring experience Current CPR and immunisation credentials Confident working independently and making clinical decisions within your scope Reliable, organised, and keen to lead and mentor the nursing team What we offer Full time, weekdays only.
No nights or weekends $45–$50 per hour plus super, depending on experience Paid CPR and ongoing training Uniform and laundry allowance A supportive team and a genuine leadership role About us James Neil Medical is a busy, fully bulk billing GP practice in South Toowoomba, with a close team of doctors, registrars, nurses and reception staff.
