TENNANT CREEK, NT | Midwife Clinical Specialist – Remote Outreach

nThis is a rare opportunity for a midwife interested in remote outreach and working across the Barkly Region. It would suit someone with previous
MGP experience
; a background in Aboriginal health would be an advantage.n
nOne of our MGP midwives is currently working in Tennant Creek and loves it so much that she has extended her stay!n

What you'll need:

n
Current knowledge of the National Immunisation Schedule and immunisation administration.
n
Experience with electronic health records.
n
Experience working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
n
Midwifery emergency care and neonatal resuscitation training updated within the past
three years
.
n
Current Basic Life Support.
n
Willingness to travel extensively across the Central Region, including by small plane or car, and stay in remote locations for short periods—for example, three nights.
n
Experience in remote health clinics and certified 4WD training are desirable, but 4WD certification is not mandatory.n
n
