We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring Out of School Hours Assistant to join our If you love creating a space where children can play, relax, explore and be themselves, we would love to hear from you.
The role
Permanent part-time (0.4 FTE), Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
Immediate start available or commencement in ****.
What you will do
* Create a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where children feel welcome and looked after
* Keep the afternoon running smoothly by supporting snack time, indoor and outdoor play, and ensuring accurate attendance and dismissal records
* Set up and pack away program spaces so they are clean, organised and inviting
* Help deliver activities and experiences that spark children's interests and support their development and wellbeing
* Provide caring day-to-day support, including help at meal and snack times, personal care and general wellbeing needs
About you
Essential
* Early Childhood Certificate III (minimum)
* Current Working with Children Check
Desirable
* Experience in a similar role
* Current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration or an Early Childhood Diploma
