the Underground Electrician is responsible for providing quality, timely preventative maintenance and repairs to underground mining infrastructure.Vault Minerals Limited is a leading intermediate gold producer listed on the ASX, with a diversified portfolio of operating assets across Western Australia and Canada.
Formerly known as Red 5 Limited, the company rebranded to Vault Minerals in September **** to reflect its scale, strength, and growth ambitions.Deflector Site Overview:Deflector Operation consists of two high-grade, narrow vein Gold/Copper mines, located 160km east of Geraldton.
The ore is contained in a series of structurally complex lodes, namely the Deflector and Deflector South West deposits.Reporting to the UG Electrical Supervisor, the UG Electrician is responsible for providing quality, timely preventative maintenance and repairs to underground mining infrastructure, radio and telemetry network facilities, and other operational areas.What we offer:This position will be offered on an 14:14 or 8:6 7:7 rosterA short one hour flight time from Perth or DIDO from Geraldton areaCompetitive Salary on a fortnightly pay cycleReferral program allowing you to earn up to $6,000 for referring recent employeesCareer development opportunities and great company culture.Key Responsibilities of this Role Will IncludePerform preventative maintenance and repairs on underground mining infrastructure, radio,



and telemetry network facilitiesEnsure all electrical activities are completed to the highest standard and in compliance with site and statutory regulationsSupport efficient operation of production facilities by minimising downtime and loss of productionConduct quality fault finding, diagnostics, and accurate fault diagnosisPrioritise and respond quickly to urgent breakdowns impacting production or safetyEnsure all installations comply with site electrical standards and statutory requirementsMaintain exemplary housekeeping and actively participate in safety initiatives, incident/accident reporting, and emergency preparednessManage department paperwork, ensuring all logbooks and work orders are completed and returned to the Electrical SupervisorCommunicate effectively with production and maintenance teams, providing accurate handover notes and participating in shift change meetingsAbout You:Underground electrical mining experienceWA "A" Class Electrical Workers LicenceWA Manual Driver's Licence (C-Class)St Johns Senior First Aid CertificateHigh Voltage Switching Operations (desirable)Crane, Dogging, EWP, and Forklift Tickets (desirable)Additional Benefits:Paywise offers the following employee benefits to Vault Minerals employees;o Novated Lease Vehicleso Salary Sacrifice - Trade tools, FIFO Travel, Self EducationOur Recruitment ProcessAs part of our recruitment process, we require a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen and a National Police Clearance.
