This role is suited to someone with butchering experience or solid knife-handling skills.
As a Butcher in our facility, you will be primarily responsible for processing and preparing red meats in bulk (pork, beef, lamb to name few) to meet supply and operational demands.Key Responsibilities:- Cut, trim and shape standard cuts of meat to size- Process carcasses into primary and secondary cut- Pack and store products for display and sales- Order supplies from wholesalers using AUS-MEAT Language, as well as weigh and check stock on receipt- Assemble and operate mincers, grinders, mixers, patty-forming or sausage-forming machines, and bandsaws- Prepare marinated meats,



value-added and ready-to-cook dishes- Handling and operating knives and cutting tools safely and efficiently- Conducting value-adding tasks (e.g. crumbing, marinating) when required- Weighing, labelling, and preparing meat for packaging and distributionQualifications & Work Experience:- Relevant Qualifications minimum Certificate III or HigherBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
