EdinburghAbout the RoleOur client is seeking a driven Engineer to support the delivery of construction projects.
This role is ideal for someone with a minimum of 2 years' experience in project engineering who is looking to step up into project management.Our client is a multi-disciplined company providing a range of end-to-end engineering solutions across numerous industries including mining and resources, power, rail, defence, and water sectors.
You will work closely with the Senior Project Engineer and engineering teams to ensure key project deliverables are met across quality, time, and client satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesReport to the Project Manager on daily site progressCreating detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD (Autodesk Inventor) softwareDocument design assumptions, calculations, decisions, and test results for quality compliance purpose and future referencePreparing technical reports and presentationsIdentify and resolve technical issues or challenges during product development, testing,



or productionAnalyse root causes of project failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrenceProvide technical support to customers, sales teams, or service techniciansPrepare and manage site diaries and recordsCollaborate proactively with estimators to ensure design robustness and product efficiencySupport project schedule updates and trackingAssist with procurement and resource coordinationManage project materials and subcontractorsMaintain skilled client relationships and reportsSkills & ExperienceMinimum 2 years' experience in a similar engineering roleDegree in Civil, Mechanical or an related Engineering or equivalentExcellent communication and organisational skillsStrong understanding of construction processes and safety requirementsProficiency in Microsoft Office and project management toolsTeam-focused with a growth mindsetSalarySalary Range $76,000-$80,000 per annum + superannuation.Only successful applicants will be contacted.
