About the company/role:Our client is a well‐known alcoholic beverage manufacturer based in Adelaide.
They are seeking a Quality Technician to join their team in the laboratory.
This role is full-time, rotating shift: 1 week day shift (7am-3pm) and 1 week afternoon shift (3pm-11pm).
This is a full-time, casual, on-going role.Duties:Collection, storage and organisation of beer samplesMicrobial testing, plating and counting colonies on platesPreparation of media and buffersData collation on Excel and presentation of results at meetingsTitration and general wet chemistryOperation and calibration of laboratory equipmentGeneral maintenance of the laboratory environmentSkills/experience:Tertiary qualifications in Food Science/ Microbiology or a related disciplinePrevious experience in the food and beverage industry is highly desirableAbility to perform chemical or microbial testing on food/ beverage samplesStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCulture & Advantages:Excellent opportunity to work with a leading Australian brand.
