Commercial Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician

Grease Busters is looking for a reliable, practical and customer-focused person to join our growing team as a Commercial Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician.
Based in Brisbane, you'll work across restaurants, cafés, pubs and other commercial kitchens, helping keep their exhaust systems clean, safe and operating as they should.
No two sites are exactly the same.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being hands-on and understands the importance of doing a job properly.

$70,000 starting salary plus superannuation
Monday to Friday work, with no weekend or night shifts
Full-time, ongoing employment
Salary review following successful completion of probation

What you'll be doing
Cleaning commercial kitchen canopies, exhaust ductwork and exhaust fans
Travelling to customer sites throughout the Brisbane region
Working safely and following established cleaning procedures
Completing work thoroughly and taking pride in the quality of your results
Communicating professionally with customers and team members
Managing your time and completing jobs efficiently without compromising quality
Working independently once trained, while contributing to a supportive team




What we're looking for
We're more interested in your attitude, reliability and willingness to learn than whether you've done this exact job before.
You'll ideally bring:
A current driver's licence
Access to a reliable vehicle that meets the requirements for transporting the necessary equipment and ladders
A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to undertake physically demanding work
Good time management and communication skills
A strong work ethic and pride in doing a job properly
A customer-first attitude and professional manner
The ability to learn new skills, follow instructions and apply feedback
The confidence to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in cleaning, hospitality, trades, maintenance or other hands-on roles would be an advantage, but a willingness to learn is essential.
