These cover projects ranging from renewable energy generation, Transmission Lines and Gas power generation.To strengthen our team, and in pursuit of recent business opportunities, we are seeking an experienced Transmission Lines - Design Engineer for a Transmission Lines projects in Victoria.About the roleThis is a design-focused role, working closely with engineering teams and delivery partners to develop practical, buildable and compliant transmission line designs.You will be responsible for modelling, designing and optimising overhead transmission lines, with direct involvement in key design activities including route selection,



structure spotting and line profiling.Undertake overhead transmission line design across 132kV+ infrastructure projectsPerform PLS-CADD modelling, including line profiling, clearances and optimisationLead or support route selection and alignment developmentConduct structure spotting and layout design for transmission linesApply sag-tension calculations, loading conditions and clearance assessmentsCoordinate with civil/structural teams on tower and foundation design inputsProvide technical input into constructability and design optimisationSupport design reviews and ensure compliance with AS/NZS **** and relevant standardsWork closely with delivery teams to ensure designs are practical and buildableAbout YouMinimum 5+ years' experience across Transmission Line projectsDemonstrated experience in transmission line design (132kV and above)Strong working knowledge of PLS-CADD (essential)Experience in route selection, structure spotting and line modellingUnderstanding of sag-tension, clearances and loading conditionsFamiliarity with Australian Standards (AS/NZS ****) or equivalentAbility to contribute to design development and technical decision-makingExcellent communication and written skillsSamsung C&T; Corporation is committed to building diverse and inclusive teams.
