About the role:
We have a fantastic chance for an enthusiastic and hands on IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in our Mount Waverley Office.
Reporting to the CIO, you will be responsible for the day to day support of all IT systems within the company, which will include but are not limited to:
Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networksTroubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faultsProviding support, including procedural documentation and relevant reportsFollowing diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a systemTesting and evaluating new technology as well as supporting the roll-out of new applicationsSetting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issuesManaging multiple open support incidents and liaising with stakeholders to resolve issuesRapidly establishing a good working relationship with users and professionals, e.g., software developersConducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment
About you:
A thorough knowledge of operating systems, networking, hardware and softwareExcellent problem solving skills and the ability to explain solutions to non-technical usersA demonstrated independent and passionate interest in all things technologyA detail-oriented working style and the ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlinesCertificate, Diploma, Degree or equivalent in IT or Computer Sciences is essential3+ years IT experience in similar roles
