The Mack Group is seeking an experienced AutoCAD and Revit Draftsperson to join our Commercial Kitchen Design Consultancy team.
This is a contract position based in Sydney NSW ****.
In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality architectural drawings and models using industry-standard software.
You will work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and project managers to translate design concepts into accurate technical documentation that guides construction and renovation projects.
This position is integral to ensuring that our projects meet rigorous standards for accuracy, clarity, and compliance.Key responsibilitiesCreate detailed drawings and plans using AutoCAD and Revit software for Commercial Kitchen ProjectsDevelop 2D and 3D models that accurately represent design specifications and construction requirementsPrepare drawing sets including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawingsEnsure all drawings comply with relevant building codes, standards, and client specificationsCollaborate with architects and engineers to refine designs and resolve technical issuesUpdate and modify drawings based on feedback from project teams and stakeholdersMaintain accurate documentation and project records throughout the drafting processCoordinate with other team members to ensure consistency across all project documentationPrepare drawing schedules, specifications, and other supporting documentation as requiredWhat we're looking forProficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software, with demonstrated ability to produce professional-quality drawingsStrong understanding of architectural drawing conventions, building codes,



and construction practicesExperience in architectural or construction drafting within a professional design practiceKnowledge of Food Safety regulation and Experience in Design and Documentation of Commercial Kitchen projects is preferred.Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy across complex drawing setsStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environmentCapability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlinesKnowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling) principles and practices is highly desirableProblem-solving skills and proactive approach to identifying and resolving drafting challengesRelevant qualifications in architectural technology or similar discipline are preferredWhat we offerThe Mack Group values its team members and provides a supportive and professional work environment.
