We're looking for compassionate and experienced Dementia Respite Assistants to join our team at our Toowoomba respite house.About the RoleThis is a hands-on role where no two days are the same.
You'll support clients in a centre-based respite setting- building genuine connections, encouraging participation, and helping create meaningful, enjoyable days.

trusting relationships with clients and their familiesEncouraging independence and participation in meaningful activitiesWorking alongside a supportive team to help every client have a "good day"What You'll BringExperience supporting older people and those living with dementia (community, respite, or residential)Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or similarStrong communication skills and a kind, patient approachCurrent First Aid & CPRDriver's LicenceA genuine passion for person-centred careAvailabilityOur centres operate Monday to Sunday.Flexibility to work afternoons, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts will be highly regarded, with a minimum of 3 days per week availability.What's in It for You?
