Its mission is to help people with a mental condition or at risk of poor mental health to get out the door of hospital or home and participate in the life of their community.ABOUT THE ROLEAs Program Coordinator , you will plan, develop , implement and lead quality outdoor adventure, education and recreation programs .
Programs range from single-day activities through to multi-day expeditions of up to five days.
You will have proven experience in delivering outdoor programs , demonstrable leadership qualities that inspire participants confidence , robust interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of program participants .30.4 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, plus scheduled field-based program delivery.
Remuneration of $47 per hour,



plus applicable allowances and access to salary packaging benefits.ABOUT YOUWith a strong a lignment with ODI's vision, mission and values , y ou must have:Certificate qualifications in Outdoor Leadership ( minimum Certificate IV), or a related field with minimum 5 years relevant experience.Instructor qualifications and minimum of 5 years practical experience in accordance with Out Doors Inc.
"Minimum Outdoor Qualifications" in at least two of the following activities bushwalking, flatwater canoeing, white water rafting/kayaking, rock climbing (natural surfaces), surfing or snorkellingFurther qualifications required are outlined in the position description .
You will also have an understanding and empathy of the issues faced by people with mental health issues and their carers .
In addition, you will have e xcellent leadership , communication, problem solving and time management skills , be capable of exercis ing a high level of professional judgment and work well with people from a diverse range of backgrounds .
