Now part of the Pact Group, Sulo Australia is known for producing high-quality, sustainable bins—many made from up to 80% locally sourced recycled materials -and supporting councils and businesses across the country with cutting-edge waste collection systemsAbout SULO | SuloJob DescriptionAbout this opportunityThe primary purpose of the Moulding Technician is to set up, operate and troubleshoot injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment to mould and finish any manufactured articles including mobile garbage bins (MGBs), bodies, lids, and other parts according to the product specification.Your key responsibilities will be to:Oversees production schedules and coordinates mould changes, machine setups, and material handling.Assigns tasks based on job orders and ensures proper setup of injection moulding machines and related equipment.Adjusts machine parameters to optimize output and quality.Manages inventory movement, maintains production records, and supports shift handovers.Performs routine maintenance,



addresses equipment issues, and collaborates with the R&M; team when needed.Promotes a clean, safe work environment and motivates team members to meet production goals.Your skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you'll have:Strong team collaboration skillsEffective problem-solving capabilitiesSolid understanding of legislative safety requirements and safe work systemsProficient in computer applications and systemsAbility to read and interpret safety rules, operating procedures, maintenance instructions, and manualsSkilled in writing routine reports and professional correspondenceConfident in speaking and presenting to groups within the organizationBasic mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate figures accuratelyQualificationsPrevious experience in a similar role or in a manufacturing environment is preferredYear 10 and /or Certificate III or equivalent experience.Certificate III in Process Manufacturing, a trade qualification as fitter, toolmaker or moulder or the equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Able to work autonomously and as part of a teamPhysically fit and capable of manual duties
