About the company/role:Our client is an Australian brand which supplies beverages to all the major retailers and internationally.
They are seeking a food science student or graduate to work part time in their laboratory carrying out testing on their beverage samples.
Is a a part-time, day shift role (flexibility is required on working days).
A car is required for this role due to the location of the site.Duties:Microbiological and analytical testing of beverage samplesEnsure highest levels of HACCP and GMP by monitoring manufacturingConduct Internal and GMP audits as requiredReporting and actioning on NCRsCalibration of laboratory instruments daily and maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the laboratorySkills/experience:Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or equivalent – or currently studyingFlexibility for working schedule mid week is requiredA car is required due to the location of the siteExperience in a busy, fast paced food environment in a QA/QC function is highly regardedHave a keen and diligent work ethic with good people skills to work within this enthusiastic teamWorking knowledge of HACCP/GMP/GLPExcellent attention to detailCulture & Benefits:Excellent opportunity for a food science student or graduate to gain industry experience with a well-known reputable brand.Full training is provided for the position.
