Key to the hospital's success is a highly skilled and expert team of staff who are supported by a comprehensive range of professional development opportunities.As a Food Service Assistant your responsibilities will include:Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assemblyDeliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal traysAssist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required.Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture.Provide high standard of customer serviceOperate in line with WHS policy & proceduresDeliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patientsHave demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional developmentAuthority to Work in AustraliaWorking with Children check (if relevant)Experience in aged care or hospital environment (desirable)Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirementsCommitment to service excellence.Strong communication and customer skillsWork well independently and within a teamWhy Healthscope?
