About the company/role:Our client is a well-known dairy manufacturer based in Southwest Sydney.
They are seeking a current Food Science student to join their laboratory team.
This role will work 2 days per week on Mondays and Fridays.
Due to the location of the site, a car is required for this role.Duties:Microbial analysis of dairy samples (TPC, coliforms, microbial plating)Operate laboratory equipment (Milkoscan, Delvo, Microfoss, pH meter)Conduct packaging analysis (torque meter, diameter, weight)Record all results and elevate any issuesReporting and analysis of resultsMaintenance of the laboratory environmentSkills/experience:Current Food Science OR Microbiology studentAvailability to work Mondays and FridaysAccess to car and licenseAbility to work as part of a teamProficient in using Excel, Word and OutlookStrong attention to detail and communication skillsResponsible for following food safety rules and guidelinesCulture & Benefits:Excellent prospect for a student to gain hands‐on industry experience while completing their studies
