We are partnering with an established, growing Australian organisation to recruit a motivated, technically curious Business Systems Officer.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career technology professional looking to build expertise in business systems, enterprise applications, and process improvement, with a clear pathway to becoming a Business Systems Analyst.
Working closely with the Business Intelligence and Systems Lead, you will gain hands-on experience supporting and improving critical business applications, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, while building relationships across the organisation.
The Opportunity
In this varied and hands-on position, you will play an important role in ensuring business systems operate efficiently, users receive effective support and opportunities for improvement are identified and implemented.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Administering and supporting core business applications.
Investigating and resolving system, data and process issues, identifying root causes and recommending solutions.
Supporting users with system-related enquiries, troubleshooting and training.
Gathering business requirements, mapping processes and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Managing user access, permissions,



system configurations and associated documentation.
Supporting system enhancements through testing, change management and implementation.
Developing and maintaining system documentation, process guides and training materials.
Contributing to business improvement initiatives and progressively taking ownership of smaller projects.
About You
We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, enjoys problem-solving and is passionate about understanding how technology can improve business performance.
To be successful, you will ideally bring:
A qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
One to two years of experience in business systems, application support, systems administration or a related discipline.
Graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with an ability to investigate issues and identify practical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail,



organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
A genuine interest in developing a career in business systems, business analysis and continuous improvement.
Highly regarded, but not essential:
Exposure to enterprise resource planning systems.
Basic SQL knowledge and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping or user acceptance testing.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Power BI, Power Automate or SharePoint.
An understanding of finance, operations or supply chain business processes.
