We're currently seeking a casual Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance Team.
This role offers 20 hours per week with a versatile work schedule, providing an excellent opportunity for someone looking to balance professional and personal commitments while contributing to a dynamic and collaborative environment.Role HighlightsThe key purpose of this role is to manage the accurate and timely processing and payment of vendor invoices and expense claims for North Queensland Airports (NQA).
Key ResponsibiltiesProcess vendor invoices, including oversight of invoice workflow through NQA's Technology One system and correct GST handling,Support users of the Technology One system across the business,Facilitate the payment of vendor invoices for Cairns and Mackay Airports and associated entities in line with agreed terms and deadlines,Respond to internal and external queries regarding vendor accounts,Maintain and manage the vendor data and accounts payable ledger in Technology One,Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and preparation of payment journals,Contribute to cashflow management, including the preparation of daily cash forecasts,Provide general administrative and financial support to the Finance Team as needed,Support continuous improvement of financial systems and processes,
