Our client is a well-established Australian financial services organisation, focused on providing insurance and financial solutions to its customers.
Purpose of the role:
This entry-level role is responsible for processing new business applications and additional business across life insurance and wealth products, ensuring all applications are managed accurately and in accordance with financial services procedures, policies and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
The complete administration of New Business applications whilst in proposal / underwriting for our Direct Products
Liaise with Underwriters and Direct Sales agents accordingly
Responding internal & customer queries in writing and via the telephone
Meeting all service standards and quality objectives
Following up external parties for further information such as medical professionals; other internal departments
Ad-hoc requests / tasks from management when required
Relationship building (internal / external)
Filing / General Office Administration
Reception duty when required
About you ...
Experience & Qualifications
Previous administration experience is required.
Experience within the life insurance or broader financial services industry is preferred.
Relevant industry qualifications are highly regarded.
Previous experience working in a corporate environment is advantageous.
Skills & Attributes
Robust customer service focus and a professional approach.
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
Ability to effectively manage and resolve customer enquiries and complaints.
Basic project management and coordination skills.
Experience using insurance or financial services systems is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
