What we are looking for:Previous work experience in a similar roleWorking knowledge of in-house software programsAdministrative skills to include recording and presenting dataAustralian work rights and valid manual driver licence are requiredAbility to accurately interpret and complete relevant documentation.Knowledge of motor vehicles and heavy machineryHigh School Certificate – Year 12 (preferrable)Forklift licence is requiredResponsibilities:As our Stores Person, you will be responsible for delivering outcomes to our customers, using your attention to detail and safe work practices to pick, prepare and receipt stock.
Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will contribute to team success and expand your skills, and enjoy a variety of work, where no 2 days are the same!
Key responsibilities include,



but are not limited to:Maintain accurate stock reports to support business decisions.Collect parts from suppliers and freight companies.Report stock shortages to the Parts Manager.Receipt, check, and verify incoming stock; notify relevant departments promptly.Pick, package, and dispatch customer and service orders; deliver when required.Maintain retail and stock shelves for the Sales, Service and Parts Departments, and for our Customers.Build strong relationships with freight providers and monitor freight costs for recovery.Ensure stock is clean, saleable, and accurately recorded during stock take activities.Safely operate a forklift for loading/unloading trucks.Actively participate in team meetings and training; follow reasonable work requests.Uphold Honeycombes' Mission, Vision, Values, and comply with policies and safety standards.Join our successful Truck Centre, located in Townsville, alongside some of the best beaches in Queensland.Should you require any additional information or have any questions, please contact the HR team on or Honeycombes Sales and Service value diversity and inclusion.
