Labourforce have several clients based in Perth and we are currently seeking experienced Manufacturing Operators (sheet metal) to work for our client in Maddington.
About the role:
Must be able to work a roster from Monday - Friday (both AM & PM shifts)Pay rate from $35p/h (casual loading included) + superImmediate starts available!
Key Responsibilities:
Undergo relevant roll formInterpret product drawings to program the folding machine according to specificationsManufacturing goods to our customers' requirementsOperating metal folding, roll form and pressing machines and general sheet metal equipmentConduct basic preventative and breakdown maintenance in liaison with the maintenance teamParticipate in training in the use of specific items of plant and equipmentCollaborate with team members,



other business areas and projects as requiredStrict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
You will need:
Unlimited working rights in Australia (hours are full time)Australian Forklift ticket is advantageous but not essentialExperience working as a sheet metal manufacturing operator, including ability to interpret product drawingsWilling to train the right applicantsHave excellent attention to detailBe computer literateHave good written and verbal communication skillsBe fit, healthy and able to perform heavy lifting when requiredHigh level of pride in workAbility to work well within a team setting.
All successful candidates will need to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol test
