It has 11 theatres including a hybrid theatre and a 15 bed Intensive Care Unit.They also have a cardiac suite including a cardiac catheter laboratory and a 16 bed Coronary Care Unit.
A private maternity suite including 6 birthing suites and a special care baby nursery is available for families in the Newcastle region.
The Oncology Centre provides specialty care for individuals and their families/carers undergoing all aspects of cancer treatment and care with both an inpatient unit and day infusion lounge.About YouCurrent Registration with AHPRA & Working rights in Australia3+ years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute ICU, or HDU settingCommitment to Quality Patient CareCompliance with ACQSHC National standardsSound clinical decision making and problem solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsWorks well independently and within a teamPost Graduate Certificate in ICU, HDU, or CCU (or working towards) is desirable
