About the role

The West End Electric is a venue in Brisbane's West End that brings together circus, cabaret, comedy and world-class hospitality. We are looking for exceptional hospitality people across multiple roles, from bartenders and cocktail makers to experienced supervisors and managers. We are after people who combine genuine hospitality with pace, precision and the operational know-how to make a busy venue run beautifully.

Key responsibilities

- Deliver world-class hospitality with warm, instinctive service that makes every guest feel part of the experience

- Create quality cocktails with confident technique and the ability to deliver under pressure without missing a beat

- Maintain operational excellence through preparation, teamwork, organisation and attention to detail

- Work through busy services while maintaining quality, consistency and composure

- Prepare for service and maintain stock control and venue standards

- Work seamlessly as part of a team with strong communication

- For supervisory and management positions: motivate, organise and support a team

About you

- Experience in a fast-paced bar, restaurant or hospitality environment





- Genuine passion for hospitality, drinks and creating memorable guest experiences

- Confidence working through busy services while maintaining quality, consistency and composure

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly as part of a team

- Solid operational awareness, from service preparation and stock control to maintaining venue standards

- Knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits and cocktail techniques for relevant bar roles

- Leadership experience and the ability to motivate, organise and support a team for supervisory and management positions

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and show nights in a dynamic entertainment environment

The West End Electric is housed in an iconic building in Brisbane's West End. Alongside our front bar, Intermission Bar & Kitchen, we serve excellent drinks, cocktails and food to an audience looking for something out of the ordinary. We operate two distinctive spaces in a live entertainment environment.
