As an experienced Production Manager/Lead you will oversee a small team of technicians involved in electronics assembly and testing operations. Opportunity exists to learn and develop and take on greater responsibility as the business continues to grow.

The Managing Director is highly regarded in the industry and can provide the support to create a career in avionics if so desired. Whilst a range of support services and sales offices exists in strategic locations around the world the Managing Director is passionate about maintaining manufacturing/production in Australia.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing less than 10 in assembly & test, quality performance, operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing facility.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will:





- Lead day-to-day operations
- Manage production planning and workflow
- Deliver operational efficiency improvements
- Ensure quality and safety compliance
- Mentor and develop personnel
- Work closely with engineering, quality and supply chain teams

About You
You will bring:

- Production/assembly or production experience leading and developing people
- Experience within avionics, electronics, electrical or some other highly regulated manufacturing or advanced manufacturing environment
- Continuous improvement experience
- Planning and operational coordination/management experience
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable

- Engineering or manufacturing degree
