Employment Type: Temporary Full Time

Remuneration: $153,559 - $182,954 (plus superannuation and leave loading)
Hours Per Week: 38
Requisition ID: REQ702712

About the opportunity
As the Lead, Project Communications and Engagement, you will work as part of an integrated project team to lead communication and engagement activities for major health infrastructure projects. You’ll develop and deliver strategic approaches that strengthen stakeholder relationships, support meaningful community engagement and help manage project reputation.

You’ll provide strategic advice on communication and engagement opportunities, risks and issues, while creating explicit and engaging content across a range of channels. Working closely with project teams, Local Health Districts, consumers, community groups, government agencies and delivery partners, you’ll help ensure communications and engagement activities are coordinated, timely and aligned with project objectives.

This role offers the opportunity to shape how communities and stakeholders engage with important health infrastructure projects throughout their planning and delivery, based at 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards, with travel to project sites across Western Sydney as required.

This is a fixed term full-time opportunity for two years period. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.

Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.

This recruitment may be used to appoint to similar future roles (ongoing or temporary), or to create a Talent Pool for roles that may arise over the next 18 months.

About you
You’re an experienced communications and engagement professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and can confidently manage competing priorities, deadlines and stakeholder expectations. You bring strong judgement and strategic thinking, with the ability to anticipate emerging issues, identify communication and stakeholder risks, and develop practical approaches to support positive project outcomes.

A confident communicator and relationship builder, you’re comfortable working with diverse stakeholders and navigating complex or sensitive issues. You can adapt your approach as projects evolve, influence effectively and bring people together to achieve shared outcomes.

You’ll bring a proactive and collaborative approach, along with the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging communications for a range of audiences.
