Experienced Landscaper – $40–$50/hr

WM Gardens Pty Ltd | Brisbane, QLD

$40–$50 per hour | Casual | 4–5 Days Per Week | Immediate Start

About Us

WM Gardens is a growing Brisbane-based landscaping and garden maintenance company specialising in residential and commercial landscaping projects.

With a strong pipeline of upcoming work and continued business growth, we’re looking for an experienced landscaper to join our team.

Our projects range from complete landscape transformations and turf installations through to retaining walls, garden construction, artificial turf installations and general landscaping works.

We’re looking for someone who has solid hands-on landscaping experience, takes pride in their work and is keen to grow alongside the business.

About the Role

You’ll be working across a variety of residential and commercial landscaping projects throughout Brisbane.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

- General softscaping and hardscaping works.

- Natural turf preparation, levelling and installation.

- Soil preparation, spreading and grading.

- Mulching, planting and garden bed construction.

- Ground preparation, excavation and site levelling.

- Retaining walls, edging and general landscape construction.

- Artificial turf preparation and installation.

- Operating landscaping tools, equipment and machinery.

- Working alongside our team to deliver high-quality landscaping projects.

No two days will necessarily be the same, with plenty of opportunities to develop recent skills and gain experience across different areas of landscaping.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who has previous hands-on landscaping experience and understands the processes involved in completing landscaping projects.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- Previous experience working in landscaping, including softscaping and/or hardscaping.

- Experience with turfing, ground preparation, levelling, mulching and planting.

- A good understanding of levels,

measurements, straight edges and achieving quality finishes.

- Confidence using general landscaping tools and equipment.

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- A strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail.

- A willingness to learn new skills and take on different types of landscaping work.

- A current driver’s licence.

Highly Regarded (But Not Essential):

- Experience operating excavators or other earthmoving equipment.

- Artificial turf installation experience.

- Experience with retaining walls, paving or other hardscaping works.

- Experience towing trailers or operating tipper trucks.

- Previous experience taking responsibility for jobs or guiding other team members.

Artificial turf experience is a bonus, not a requirement. We’re currently taking on a growing number of artificial turf projects, so we’re particularly interested in someone who understands ground preparation, levelling and finishing work and is willing to learn the installation process.

What We Offer

- $40–$50 per hour, depending on experience and capabilities.

- Opportunity for rapid pay increases based on performance, reliability and demonstrated skills.

- Consistent work, generally 4–5 days per week.

- Immediate start available.

- A variety of landscaping projects throughout Brisbane.

- Opportunities to develop skills in machinery operation, artificial turf installation and landscape construction.

- The opportunity to take on greater responsibilities as the company continues to grow.

- A supportive, hands-on team environment.

Join Our Team

We’re not necessarily looking for someone who knows absolutely everything about landscaping.

We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation of experience, a good attitude, a strong work ethic and the willingness to continue learning.

If you’re an experienced landscaper looking for consistent work, good pay and the opportunity to grow with an expanding company, we’d love to hear from you.
