About the Role

PSD Energy is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our Building Workshop team in Pooraka.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work on the construction, assembly, and fit-out of workshop-built structures supporting our energy and infrastructure projects.

Working alongside a team of experienced tradespeople, you will undertake a variety of carpentry and general building tasks, contributing to the delivery of quality workmanship in a safe and well-organised workshop setting.

We are looking for someone who enjoys practical, varied work, takes pride in their craftsmanship, and brings a reliable, team-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

- Undertake carpentry, framing, fit-out and general building works.
- Construct, assemble, modify and repair workshop-built structures.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and work instructions.
- Measure, cut, assemble and install building materials accurately.
- Operate hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment safely.
- Work collaboratively with electricians, welders, fitters and other workshop personnel.
- Identify and address workmanship or quality issues.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:





- A trade qualification in Carpentry or substantial relevant carpentry experience.
- Practical experience in framing, building, assembly, fit-out or general construction.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Confidence using a range of carpentry tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety.
- A current Driver's Licence.
- Construction White Card
- Experience working with prefabricated or modular building structures (desirable).
