This is a hands-on position where delivery driving and supplier pickups are the primary responsibilities. The successful candidate will also represent iSupplier professionally, identify new business opportunities and help grow sales through customer relationships. Applicants must be comfortable with physical work, managing daily schedules independently and taking responsibility for accurate deliveries.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver customer orders throughout Melbourne safely, accurately and on time
- Collect goods from suppliers and transport stock to our warehouse
- Load and unload goods, including cartons and palletised products
- Plan efficient delivery and pickup routes
- Build and maintain positive relationships with existing customers
- Identify potential new customers, promote our products and generate sales opportunities
- Assist customers with product enquiries and orders
- Help with warehouse operations, stock organisation, picking and packing when required
- Update delivery statuses and order information using our company system
- Maintain delivery vehicles in a clean, safe and professional condition
About you
- Valid Australian driver's licence and a safe driving record
- Experience in delivery driving, logistics or distribution preferred
- Good knowledge of Melbourne roads and metropolitan suburbs
- Physically capable of regular loading, unloading and handling cartons safely
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, honest and able to work independently
- Comfortable using smartphones and basic computer systems
- Willingness to assist with warehouse work when required
- Australian working rights
- Experience in wholesale distribution, food packaging or hospitality supplies highly regarded
