About the role

We are seeking a People & Culture Coordinator to join our Human Resources team in Colac, Victoria on a fulltime basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the development and management of our people strategies and initiatives. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager you will be instrumental in fostering a positive workplace culture, supporting employee wellbeing, and ensuring that our HR processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role is pivotal in helping us attract, retain and develop talented team members who share our values and commitment to excellence.

What you'll be doing

- Supporting the recruitment and onboarding process

- Maintaining and updating HR records, databases and documentation in compliance with relevant legislation and company policies

- Coordinating and promoting employee engagement activities, events and recognition programmes to foster a positive workplace culture

- Assisting with the development and delivery of training and development programmes to support employee growth and skill development

- Supporting the implementation of HR policies, procedures and compliance initiatives across the organisation

- Providing administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling, correspondence and meeting coordination

- Gathering and reporting on HR metrics and data to inform people strategy decisions





- Supporting workplace health and safety initiatives and employee wellbeing programmes

What we're looking for

- A highly motivated individual preferably with relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in HR

- Robust organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organisation

- Proficiency in using general computer applications such as Microsoft Office

- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team workplace whilst also being able to work independently

- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in supporting employee wellbeing and engagement

- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality

- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
