Looking for a frontline position where you can put your customer service skills to work?

We’re looking for a proactive Weighbridge Operator to support the safe and efficient operation of Council’s resource recovery facilities!

What You’ll Do:

In this frontline position, you will be the first point of contact at our Resource Recovery facilities. If you're confident with technology, enjoy working with people, and can thrive in a busy operational environment, this could be the role for you.

You will be responsible for:

- Operating weighbridge systems and process transactions

- Directing site traffic and support safe operations

- Delivering outstanding customer service

- Accurately recording waste and transaction data

- Supporting environmental compliance and resource recovery outcomes

What We’re Looking For:

- A current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence as required to drive between Council sites

- Experience using Microsoft Office, mobile devices, UHF radios, and operational business systems

- Strong numeracy and cash handling skills with high attention to detail

- Sound computer skills as required to operate weighbridge software and MS Office and associated technology





- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- A strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork

- The ability to work effectively in a quick-paced operational environment
