Cook / Junior Cook (Revesby)

We are seeking a reliable Cook / Junior Cook with experience cooking breakfast and lunch menus in a busy cafe to join our friendly team at our cafe in Revesby.

Duties include:

- Preparing and cooking cafe breakfast and lunch dishes

- Preparing ingredients and organising your section before service

- Maintaining consistent food quality and presentation during busy service

- Keeping the kitchen, benches, utensils and equipment clean and organised, and cleaning as you go

- Assisting with stock control and deliveries

- Following food safety and hygiene standards

Requirements:

- Previous cooking experience in a busy cafe serving breakfast and lunch is essential





- Confidence preparing and cooking a breakfast and lunch menu and managing orders during busy service

- Clean and tidy work habits, with solid attention to kitchen hygiene and organisation

- Reliability, a positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team

- Availability five days a week, including weekdays and weekends

- Ability to start at 6 or 7am and work through to 3pm (kitchen closes at 3pm)

Pay is based on experience.
