The Roles

We are currently seeking licensed Electricians and experienced Roofers to join our dynamic team.

For Electricians, prior experience with Solar PV and Battery systems is highly desirable but not essential. On-the-job training will be provided for the right candidates.

For Roofers, experience working with solar installations is desirable but not essential. We are looking for people who are confident working at heights, understand roofing systems and safe work practices, and are interested in developing their skills within the renewable energy industry.

These roles are ideal for motivated tradespeople who are eager to expand their expertise, contribute to meaningful projects and grow their careers in the rapidly evolving renewable energy industry in the Top End.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on your trade and experience, responsibilities may include:

- Undertake electrical, roofing and solar installation works safely and efficiently.

- Install Solar PV and Battery systems, with training available where required.

- Complete rooftop preparation,



mounting systems and associated solar installation works.

- Perform general electrical work in compliance with Australian Standards and DNSP requirements.

- Read, interpret and work from relevant plans, specifications and installation requirements.

- Identify and appropriately manage roofing issues associated with solar installations.

- Work safely at heights and comply with all WHS requirements and safe work procedures.

- Use and be trained in our job management software, SimPro.

- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

- Oversee and mentor apprentices and junior team members where appropriate.

- Communicate professionally and effectively with clients and team members.

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to improve workflow and service delivery.

- Work autonomously when required while contributing positively as part of the wider Rimfire Solar team.

- Continue to develop skills and knowledge within solar and renewable energy.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Electricians:

- Unrestricted A Grade NT Electrical Licence.

- Valid Australian driver's licence.

- Construction Industry White Card.

- Located in Australia with full working rights.

Roofers:

- Demonstrated roofing experience and/or relevant roofing trade qualifications.

- Experience working safely on residential and/or commercial roofs.

- Valid Australian driver's licence.

- Construction Industry White Card.

- Located in Australia with full working rights.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

- Current CPR/LVR Certification – Electricians.

- Current Working at Heights Certification.

- SAA – Solar Grid Connect Accreditation – Electricians.

- SAA – Grid Connect with Batteries Accreditation – Electricians.

- Solar installation experience.

- Experience working with metal roofing systems.

- EWP or other relevant high-risk work qualifications.
