Our client is a specialist disputes firm based in the Brisbane CBD with a growing reputation for quality litigation work. The firm offers genuine flexibility: depending on the candidate, the role can be hybrid or mostly remote. It also uses modern legal technology, including CoCounsel and Smokeball, and is keen to adopt more smart tools.

The prospect
Join a small, collaborative team as a Litigation Associate, working on a varied disputes practice with a particular focus on construction law and building disputes. You’ll also run matters across commercial litigation, insolvency and restructuring litigation, and debt recovery and enforcement.

The leading partner has a strong track record of mentoring and developing lawyers, and the firm plans to grow over the next couple of years. You’ll get close guidance, real responsibility and a clear path to progress.

About you
An Associate-level lawyer is ideal. However, the firm is happy to speak with lawyers from 12 months to 5 years PAE who are looking for their next step. You will bring:





- Experience in litigation, ideally with some exposure to construction or commercial disputes
- Strong drafting, research and analytical skills
- A proactive, organised approach and the ability to manage matters with appropriate autonomy
- An interest in legal technology and efficient ways of working
- Admission to practice in Queensland
