Join our friendly kitchen team in the Clare Valley!

Bush deVine Restaurant at Paulett Wines is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Chef/Cook to join our small, supportive kitchen team on a permanent part-time basis, with flexible hours and the opportunity for additional hours.

Located in the beautiful Polish Hill River region of the Clare Valley, Bush deVine is an award-winning, hatted restaurant serving seasonal dishes inspired by Australian native ingredients and local produce. Our commitment to quality and sustainability shines through in every dish, and we’re passionate about creating memorable experiences for our guests.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys cooking and wants to be part of a friendly team where everyone pitches in and contributes.

About the role

- Permanent part-time position with flexible hours

- Work across a seven-day rotating roster, primarily lunch service, with occasional evening functions

- Be part of a small, supportive kitchen team

- Assist with food preparation, cooking, presentation and maintaining consistent food quality

- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, food safety and hygiene

About you

- Previous cooking or kitchen experience is preferred, but we’re happy to consider someone who is keen to learn and develop their skills

- A positive attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic

- Enjoy working as part of a team





- Good communication skills and attention to detail

- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays when required

A formal cooking qualification is preferred but not essential. We’d love to hear from experienced cooks and chefs, as well as someone looking to build their skills in a qualified kitchen.
