About the role

Are you a Speech Pathologist looking for your next locum chance? Change Medical are seeking a Speech Pathologist to join a public health service in regional Victoria, within a few hours of Melbourne.

This is a 3-month locum opportunity for an experienced Grade 2/3 Speech Pathologist. You will deliver person-centred care to adults in the community as part of a supportive Rural Allied Health Team.

- Start: ASAP

- Contract: 3 months with available extension

- Hours: Monday–Friday Full Time

- Rate: $60–$75 per hour + super

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver community-based speech pathology assessments and interventions for adults with swallowing and communication difficulties

- Manage a diverse caseload across the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), HACC PYP and NDIS funding streams

- Conduct home visits and develop individualised care plans to support clients' needs and goals

- Support older adults and people with disabilities to maintain independence and remain safely at home





- Assess and manage clients with progressive neurological conditions

- Collaborate with the wider Rural Allied Health Team and Allied Health Assistants to coordinate treatment plans and therapy programmes

- Recommend appropriate equipment and strategies to improve clients' safety, communication and daily functioning

About You

- A qualified Speech Pathologist.

- Experience working as a Grade 2 or Grade 3 Speech Pathologist

- Experience in adult speech pathology, including dysphagia and communication assessments.

- Confidence managing a varied community caseload and working independently during home visits
