About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Production Supervisor to support the protected, efficient, and reliable operation of the Brooklyn tyre-retreading facility.

You must have experience in a production supervisory level role in manufacturing, and while not necessary, tyre retreading experience would be an advantage.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of the retread facility, leadership & training. This role will require you to supervise and manage the factory floor to ensure we consistently meet strict safety, production & quality targets.

Some of your Roles/Responsibilities will Include:

- Support the Production Manager to run daily production safely and efficiently, ensuring company’s targets are met consistently.

- Lead, coach, and develop factory team to achieve safety, quality, and production targets,

- Run toolbox meetings covering safety, production, quality, operational matters and continuous improvement ideas,





- Coordinate contractors and vendors on matters relating to plant, equipment, facilities and process improvement,

- Lead process-improvement activities and equipment installation, commissioning, decommissioning, removal and disposal.

To be successful in this role you must possess the following:

- Valid Driver’s license & Forklift license or ability to obtain one;

- Computer literacy across Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel; - Essential

- Previous supervisory experience - Essential

- Proven people-management skills - Essential

- Experience in the application of TPS/Lean methodologies on the factory floor; - Essential

- Willing to undergo a police check and drug & alcohol test - Essential.
