Bakery Hill Dental is a well-established, family-focused private dental practice in Ballarat, Victoria - roughly 1 hour from Melbourne.

We have been providing dental services to the Ballarat and surrounding community for the last 40 years. We have a loyal patient base, made up of all different ages, genders, backgrounds and dental needs. We are currently booked out 2 weeks in advance and require an experienced staff member for this role.

The Opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our friendly clinic on a part-time basis.

You will be working chair side with the Dentist, doing sterilisation and reception work.

Our practitioners expect that you will be meticulous with infection control and the ability to use EXACT dental software is highly recommended.





Skills and Qualifications

- Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or higher) ideally but not a must

- Training for non-qualified DA can be offered on a case by case basis - welcome to apply

- Be competent in chair side assisting and sterilisation protocols

- Be eager to actively contribute to our team

- Be open and ready to learn new things

- Have excellent people and communication skills

- Genuinely show care to our staff and patients

- Be comfortable working in a rapid paced environment

- Actively use your initiative and be proactive in your work

- Be organised and have excellent time management skills

- Be punctual, well-presented and reliable

- Be flexible with hours and will be required to work one Saturday per month

- Commitment to providing high-quality treatment and building rapport with patients and their families
