Our practice is managed by doctors for doctors and our success is driven by the innate understanding that Medical Leadership facilitates the highest standards of professional and operational excellence for the doctors and patients that we serve.We are seeking an enthusiastic Health Skilled (Scientific Officer) to join our dynamic Haematology Department at Macquarie Park.This is a full-time evening shift position, working 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with participation in the Saturday roster.You will be an integral member of our Haematology team.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in Flow Cytometry, with experience in other areas of Haematology considered highly desirable.
Your responsibilities will includePerforming diagnostic testing and interpreting results regarding haematology, morphology and flow cytologyConducting routine maintenance,



troubleshooting equipment and identifying opportunities for process improvement.Ensure quality compliance and standards meet the regulatory frameworkWe are proud to say we have a learning and supportive setting.
We are looking for the following:Graduated with a Medical Science Degree or recognised AIMS equivalent.Experience in haematology/coagulation and morphology will be highly regardedRequired to working full-time hours between Monday and Friday 5:00 pm to 1:00 am and rostered weekend work.Strong communication skills and can effectively communicate key stakeholdersA hard-working, motivated individual with a strong work ethicThrives in a rapid-paced environmentCompetitive hourly pay with attractive loading.Applicants for this position must have the appropriate working rights to work in Australia, and will be required to sign an acceptance that the Company may conduct a police check.Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology is an equal prospect employer.
