Trainee Radiographic Assistant Practitioner

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Performance of clinical radiographic duties as delegated by the Superintendent Radiographer in each section and according to agreed protocols.
- Participate in the assistant practitioner rotation across the sites.
- To perform radiographic duties according to protocol, and to be supervised by a qualified member of the radiographic team ensuring that all x-ray films are checked by a qualified member of the radiographic team.
- To participate in departmental planned out of hours working.
- To participate in multi-disciplinary team working.
- To ensure effective communication with patients, carers and all health care professionals about all aspects of patient care.
- To maintain accurate documentation pertinent to the examination.
- To perform health care assistant duties where relevant.
